Dozens of new churches are
needed to reach the thousands of people who are un-churched or
under-churched in one of the fastest growing areas of the country –
the Triad North Carolina region. While God is raising
up numerous church planters in the area, assistance is needed in
planning and planting these new works. That’s where VisionWorks comes
in.
We are a church planting ministry
founded in
partnership with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and
Mission Triad. The purpose of our ministry is to
facilitate and complement the church planting efforts of the State
Convention and the three Baptist associations in the Piedmont Triad
area of North Carolina.
By going before the
permanent church planter, preparing the “soil” for the new church or
ministry opportunity, identifying the planting core, and
nurturing the new start, many successful and Kingdom-effective
churches can be started. Our vision is summed up by
our slogan, God’s Vision . . . Our Work. Our goal
is to assist in the planting of 50 new churches by 2015.
